    Who's looking forward to BB10?

RIM just announced the date for the official BB10 launch. They will discuss the new OS as well as the first two phone models. One is going to be all touch and the other will retain a keyboard.

Personally, I like BB and I've been saving my upgrade in order to get on the BB10 train.

I still have my curve 9330 with v5. Despite being relatively unadvanced, it still does everything I need. It's been super sensitive to water, but I've managed to successfully dry it out before (never did that with my old phones) and its been dropped from about 10 feet onto concrete plus many other seriously heavy shocks that I didnt expect it to survive. I will have to see about the new OS. I dislike touch only phones for some reason, and think I would break one pretty quick.

TLDR, I used to wreck a phone every year, my BB has lasted 2.5yrs, Don't like iPhones or Droids. Bring on the new shit and long live BB/RIM.

I had a Storm and Storm II. RIM will never regain me as a customer.

I loved RIM's build quality, but alas, android does what I want better.
I also miss the full qwerty keyboard. If RIM went android, or even a variant of it. I would gladly go back.

I had to look at the post date to make sure someone didn't bump a thread from like 2006 or something.

Just got finishd migrating 5500 users in the company off of RIM devices over to Iphones and SIII's, RIM is dead.

Sadly, it is true that if RIM doesnt regain a huge portion of the smartphone user market back it, along with the enterprise side, is likely to fail. Nonetheless, I am anxious to see what they are bringing to the table.

Not sure about Android, I do know that I will without a doubt NEVER, EVER Go IPhag.

Sticking with my Torch till the new BB10 Devices come out, and we will see.

for me it is a Phone/Email device with a connection to my Playbook (good for viewing/showing files). most def not a fashion show.

Surely a mistake has been made and this is not a thread about RIM still being relevant.

They need all the help they can get. I hope they come back. The more competition, the better for customers.

I can't wait for BB10; I've had several Blackberry phones and each one has been better than the last.

RIM gets a lot of hate these days (some of it deserved, I guess), but I think they are finally learning from their mistakes, and hopefully the new OS will win back the people that they lost. If they have any brains at all they will market this thing as aggressive as possible, because that's where they have failed hard with just about every phone/OS release.

What else would you expect out of a Canadian cellphone. Just remember, Palm tried to come back too.

I've got a handspring for sale if any of you hipster kids want to use that along with your retro blackberries.

I just love buttons. I could never get the hang of typing with a touch screen. Had an iPhone, tried to love it, couldn't. Back to the BlackBerry for me. I pretty much only use a phone to call people and text anyways so not a huge deal.

getting one as soon as its drops. switched from torch to an iphone. only thing good on the iphone is IG. BB10 looks great. I have my money on them. 80million world wide subscribers and growing even on the 15 year old OS. Definitely looking forward to Q1.
