Do R3vers have families?(kids etc)

2 dogs, 1 daughter (for now; who knows when I'll have the next one), and a girlfriend. No marriage for me. My kids will learn stick shift at the same age I did, which was 12 years old.

Just turned 28, married 4+ years, have a 7 month old boy. I agree with burns, seems the average age of e30 owners has lowered in the last 5 years I've had my e30.

I was raised in a dysfunctional family and witnessed my older brothers all have kids and also have dysfunctional home lives and expose the kids to that (it's an endless cycle). I vowed at a very young age to never put myself thru the hardships I went thru as a kid nor take the role of a parent in that situation.

Some things are just better left undone in life. Instead I search for fulfillment in reaching personal goals and material objects (e30 etc)

Kids aren't for everyone. I didn't plan mine, but she turned out to be a LOT better than I thought it would be.

+1000000 to both of these. I really enjoy being by myself and have never wanted kids.

I don't think I could bear the guilt of putting an innocent child through what I went through as a kid. Not fair.

On a happier note, I've got a 2 year old Pomeranian who takes a fair amount of my free time when I'm not working on E30s!

I'm 31, no kids, no wife. I had a del sol just a few years ago. thought it was the sport car i wanted til i drove an kompressor sl roadster. then i knew i needed rear wheel drive. sold the honda



and bought this, very happy so far

Im 24 got married in March and my daughter is due this coming March. Im excited. No more for a few years tho. Atleast until we finish college.

Im 24 and my son is a year and a half. He loves driving the the e30 around empty parking lots, and has pretty much claimed my mk2 gti as his.



Nurburgring was just too much for him.

34 Married 8 years, 5 yr old girl, 3 year old boy, 2 cats, and a dog... Both kids want me to get rid of my e23... son wants me to get another "race car (e30)", daughter wants me to get "the cool race car with nice rims that sounds awesome (friends e36 m3 track machine)... They both get cool points for their choices.
