    Black Friday Progressive/Electro House Minimix

It's been a while since I've posted a mix due to relocating to a new place and getting resituated. Our local shows/festivals occasionally have competitions and I decided to finally put together something to submit for shits and giggles.

I usually record hour long mixes so I tried something different with more of a quick mix style. I'm honestly not sure I like it, but you'll have to let me know.

this is exactly the stuff i listen to so i was excited to hear your mix!
i like it a lot man, props.

i really liked how some of the vocals sound like early 90's house music. and overall you kept a good flow as far as song choice; wasn't boring.

one thing i didn't like though, is that on a lot of your drops you switch the song up.
i know that sounds dumb, because that what dj's do, but like, it wasn't as smooth as a switch as it could've been i guess.
like, to me, your drop at 22:50 was fat. the beat had a good build going, then the same beat dropped just with mucho bass, perfect.

overall i liked it though man, listened to the whole thing

make a hardstyle mix! thats my shit. q dance type stuff. anyways keep up the good work! hope my critiques help:razz:

Thanks Rizo, that was exactly the type of feedback I was looking for. There were a couple of transitions were a little busier and too quick for my liking. In this mix a few times I would use a buildup from one song into a drop of another.

With the quick mix style it's more technical and usually the same number of songs that would go into an hour long mix. It's definitely not my forte. I have quite a bit of free time this weekend and feel like making another better mix for you guys, maybe I'll even throw some basshunter in there eh Rizo?

Cool cool, for the time being if you want to check out some of my older stuff, I have a quite a few mixes uploaded to my mixcloud account.

DblKlu is on Mixcloud. Listen for free to their radio shows, DJ mix sets and Podcasts

I previously had a paid soundcloud account and would upload everything there, but due to them taking down a number of my mixes, I switched to mixcloud as I was tired of dealing with it.

Going to be switching back and strictly using my soundcloud account though, since it's honestly much better, so stay tuned.
