I am not a yota guy and I dont know much about them or the 4 runners, But thats prolly one of the best things you have considered and brought up your self. Still might be a little harder to find parts in SOME of the more rural places. I think we need to determine how "go anywhere" the OP's "go anywhere" truly is. A dirt road or jobsite wouldn't be too bad in an AWD car. But the thought of someone heading into BC or AK back country in a newer Saab just makes me wince. There's rural, and then there's ruralComment
