    Man of Steel

I couldn't find another thread on the topic. I've always like Marvel better than DC (except Batman, the early 90's animated series kicked all sorts of ass) and thought Superman was hacking on God mode. He remained a product of the "Golden Age" of comics for too long and "Superman Returns" only helped prove that. Now the campy, ridiculous boyscout is gone. And for that.......I am surprised and excited. I'm pumped that Zack Synder, David Goyer, and Nolan are working on this.

I've never understood (or cared) why superhero comics/movies are such compelling material.

Nolan really had nothing to do with the movie in this form, he was on the project until Zack Synder took over directors role. I hate that hollywood will attach names to projects to make it sound important when all Nolan did was write a portion of a story that wasn't even used.

Stoked as well. Love Snyder's past work.

Trailer looks good, but those are sometimes the only good to great parts.

Excited for this to come out, since I'm all out of Batman (Dark Knight) movies to look forward to.
