Cleaning carpet mold

I had a leaking sunroof in the Peugeot and found a temporary fix with some duct tape. Also tested all the drains so I pinpointed the faulty, and torn sunroof seal, which is in-op anyways.

Now in the meantime, these is a little bit of mold growing in the passenger front carpet. How should I go about combating this? Would like to clean it all up before I leave in a few days.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I plan on Oxy-Clean and Vinegar in a spray bottle. Vinegar to kill the mold, oxyclean + carpet cleaner to clean it up

It was actually a group called Day of Champions. The guitarist and drummer went to my high school and college. Guitarists little bro is also one of my best friends.

You need to kill mold and mildew and prevent regrowth with enzymes. You can find mold/mildew enzyme cleaners at a variety of stores, including Fred Meyer.

i've very lucky that my original hardwood is still in pretty good shape. I just re-lacquered it this past fall.

Took longer than expected for me to start the interior cleanup, but vinegar + Oxy clean worked pretty well today. Got the mold out and most of the stains when I washed it all up

As for if it'll come back, I'll keep you posted
