The guy that had my e30 before me had his glock in a holster that he just wedged between the drivers seat and console. Nothing fancy but it seemed to fit pretty well.

      pro tip: use a revolver.

when casings eject from an auto, they bounce all over the interior and are annoying to clean up.

Good point, plus the fact that nobody is gonna want to fuck with you when you go all Dirty Harry on them and pull out a 357.

I just keep it on me. If by chance i take it off it goes into the drivers side map pocket. Glock 26 ftw

driver's side map pocket would indeed be a good spot!

I carry inside the waistband on my back so sitting down with it is uncomfortable. I usually drop it in my glove box or map pocket.

I like the idea of having a holster built into it.... i wonder....

well, im usually so scared to go out in public, that when i do, i mount my 50cal to a pintle mount in front of the sunroof.

if that ammo tin is not full, i do not go outside.

I've got an idea for a bracket to mount a holster under the seat. Haven't gotten around to making it yet, though. Probably do it when I replace my seats, maybe integrate it into whatever adapters I have to make.

Carry on your person.. Doesn't do any good if its in the glovebox. And what if it gets shifted in a situation and isn't where you thought, or need to run out real fast. Anytime I leave my gun under the seat or somewhere I almost always get out without. I like my iwb!

When I bought my second E30 the PO left one of those cheapo Harbor Freight survival knives under the DS seat in easy access. OTOH there were 9mm shell casings under the passenger seat, soooo, there's that.

If you really have to discharge the gun from inside the car, brass should be the least of your worries.
