Help get our name out! -reptile related-

My fiance, buddy and I started Keystone Reptiles. We are mainly focusing on Leopard geckos currently, but we have 4 Gargoyle geckos that are growing up to be bred. We are trying to get our name out for when we start hatching babies. Just in case you want to know, we have 4 pairs together right now. Please no stupid posts on the page, we want to keep it professional. Thanks everyone!

If you have a page that needs to be liked to get your name out let me know, I will return the favor :)

Geckos and E30s, whats not to like? You have some good looking Leos on your facebook page.

      Thanks!

I should add, we don't do this to make money, we do this because it is our hobby. We're not a breeder out there to screw you and make money off everything. We just want to bring quality geckos to the table, have more and keep growing.

Planning on getting into snakes at any point? Pied and morph ball pythons are damn expensive around here compared to regular balls, gotta be a market for them as well..

We are doing one project at a time. We might move on to snakes, but not 100% sure yet. There are snakes around here at Hamburg reptile show going for thousands, it's nuts.

Yeah I've seen some crazy ones even in the local pet shops. One was half white, and the second half had almost an orange blood python deal going on. Asking price? $1900..

They don't have anything good at petshops around here, just cheap reptiles that were line bred to all hell.

                Liked, this is awesome Anstead.

You need to build some plexiglass cages with some heat lamps. I am sure you already know this, would just really show how much you're committed. And I know it is 'start up' right now. Good luck man!

                  Thanks Brandon.

Rack systems are the best to go with. Slide out the tubs and access to everything, heat tape on the bottom of the tubs (taped to the shelves). It's the most ideal way. They have to be housed separately (unless you have a male and female together to make baby geckos). We are more than committed. "Baloo" the Funky Jungle leopard gecko is in the ball park of $500 dollar gecko. Snowy (snow diablo blanco) and Iggy (diablo blanco)'s babies can be sold for 150-250 each. Once they start selling, we are going to be getting more geckos. It's addicting. Me and Kayla started off with 2 geckos because she wanted a pet of her own. Then we went to a reptile show, it all started from there, she wanted to keep getting them, so we kept buying them, before you know it we have a few thousand dollars into the geckos alone. Then Steve joined in to be the 3rd person in all of it. Helps pay for things and with his knowledge of building stuff (I am not too good at building) we built the white racks. It's fun, and an awesome hobby.

I used to own an Iguana, he was not a big fan of being played with. How are these that you are raising? Or are they more of a looking at reptile?

I am sure just like any other living thing, it is how much you hold it.

You have some amazing looking subjects to breed. Better than anything around me. I would have to travel an hour to get something like what you are offering.

I shared your page, I know a few of my friends are BIG into reptiles.

Leopard geckos love to be held as well as gargoyles. If the gargoyles see something they like, such as bright pink flower, shiny piece of plastic, they jump to it. Its rather hilarious.

Thanks for sharing the page though.

I really like 'Pebbles', what type is that and is it a nice breed to hold? I would love one that just wants to sit with you. I have always wanted to own one but my cat scares me. He will go out of his way to fucking murder anything. Does not matter how big or small. If it is living he will try his heart out. Killed a small dog and other cat size animals.

You can message me back on FB, I am the one that commented on pebbles.

I have 3 Leopard Geckos, one male who is about 10 years old and missing all but two of his toe tips (thanks to the previous owners who didn't have a clue) and two younger ones, one Mack snow albino and a normal Tremper albino. They are from the same clutch of eggs.
                              The old guy.

                              and the young ones.

They are all very friendly. The younger two like to ride around on my shoulder, the old guy would like to, but he can't grip anything so I don't try.

Heat lamps aren't any good for leopard geckos. They are nocturnal so they will hide during the day and come out at night. They want under tank heaters, and only on one side so they can self regulate their temps. Sand is also a bad idea, they can't digest it. I keep mine on a solid slab of limestone with fishtank gravel around the edges. The limestone holds the heat well, and won't harm them in any way. They also need a moist hide to aid in shedding even though they are desert creatures.
