I would not buy any vehicle without looking it over in person, go see it, take whatever means of transport you prefer to get there and then rent a uhaul pickup or van one way back to bring the bike

          have that shit shipped...
You'll thank me later. It makes no sense to spend all that time and money driving back and forth to buy it.

"What if I don't like it or it's not in the condition they said its in?" sue em. Most cases, you have a window usually a day or up to a month of money back gurantee.
Hire an appraiser or inpector thats in that area. Wire him the money to inspect it. Have him report back with detailed photos and info. Then have the dealership adjust price accordingly.

          Then have em ship it.
I used to drive all over the place to buy stuff but with modern technology and just plain ol good comon sense, I would get it inspected and appraised. Then shipped.

If you'r eworried it'll sell before the appraiser gets to it, most dealerships offer a fully refundable deposit.

rode down from davis to irvine and from irvine to vegas, ear plugs, long socks, chapstick, & gear up.

rest stops go a long way and stay sharp around the grapevine area as there are many cracks that are quite scary if you're not paying attention.

            cheers.

I can travel for free. Let me fly down and ride it back for you. For a nominal fee, of course.

Well after I told the salesmen to get me some more history on the bike he showed me that the tank had a big scuff on it as if it was laid down and the PO fixed everything but the tank, never texted me back after that lol.

I don't think the price was too bad. Sure, it's got some miles but I've been riding a K3 1000 with over 34k miles and it's great. When I went in to adjust the valves everything was in good shape. Be careful with that thing! Don't wad yourself up.
