I took a trip two summers ago to Southern Siberia, and we crossed quite a few rivers and traveled some fairly washed up roads in 4 door defenders. (D110?) They were late models diesels provided by Land Rover. Tough as hell, but I'm sure they have their problems too, though we never encountered any in the two weeks we used them (which was fortunate, since we were in the middle of absolutely nowhere).

yes d110, 110 inch wheelbase, 4 door. d130's are super rare in the states.

good luck w/ the buick motor.

thats why engine swaps are so common in the uk haha. Im sure some of the more hardcore rover guys here swap better engines in.

my freind just has a rebuilt 4.3L rover motor, his dad blew up the supercharged 4.8L crate motor offroading, what a sucker haha.

This is in Lake Mary, behind the Seimens complex. If you are on I-4 and right around the lake mary/heathrow exit, if you look east you see woods, this is all back there.

a lot of dirt bikes & atv's go back there. i couldnt go down some of the trails because they were just too narrow.

i have some better pics, but they are taking a while b/c they came out to like 3000x2000 resolution with his camera, so he's probably busy and doesnt have time to resize 45+ pics
