You're justified in being pissed. Nobody wants to spend hours on end working at a job that leaves them feeling unappreciated and cheated of money.

However, I wouldn't just straight up leave. You have a golden opportunity to make more $$$ then you currently do. And isn't getting paid the main idea? Take advantage of that opportunity. If you speak up you could increase your tip share and be in the $10-12/hr range (I'm guessing, but you get the point). If you simply tell them to screw off and leave, you could find yourself in another $8/hr job missing what tips you had and could have had if you spoke up.

If they won't relent and you find yourself to pissed to care about the extra few bucks then leaving wouldn't be a bad idea. Hating your job isn't worth it if there is no chance of it being resolved.

You hate your job? I sat in piss today, he was either to embarrassed to tell anyone or simply did not know that he had urinated in his seat. Yesterday a man argued with me for 5 minutes about how his keys where not his keys calling me me every name he could think off. I had to escort him to his vehicle getting yelled at the entire time and show him his contents in the car. I have different story everyday.

I'm a valet for the VA hospital here in san Diego. I make 10 bucks an hour with a crew of 8 guys. We park between 400 and 600 cars during a ten hour period. These are some of the nastiest cars you have ever been in. Best of all No Tips! And being caught accepting one will get you fired.

I work with disabled veterans. Knowing that some of these men and women did unthinkable acts, saw unthinkable things, and felt unthinkable pain us the only thing that get me through my day.

I'm grateful for my job, the trick is not taking your job home. I get yelled at, threatened,and underpaid Yet I do it all with a smile on my face.

this is life, you have 3 options as I see, Suck it up Suzy............. Say something next time this happens to them and note that you are doing all the work................Or drag up and go to work somewhere else.

I don't think I can stress this enough. I've been in your shoes and SLEEVE is correct, your the help, not apart of the team or the "family". So speaking up isn't going to really do a thing because ha well they just don't give a shit. Either suck it up or go somewhere else. I've bounced through a lot of jobs when I turned 20. Broaden your outlook and just keep hammering out those resumes...trust me...we've ALL been in your shoes before. Good luck to you man.
