There was a shooting here in Dallas yesterday. Then one a week or two ago.
The media is cashing in on the previous incidents. People are starting to panic and get furious thus driving more attention to media ($$$)

16th street and Glendale is a shitty part of town.
Shootings happen every day in that area.

This, I work on 24th and Chambers, about 10 miles south of where that happened. It's a real shit part and they do happen all the time.

Also, it was just reveled late last week the the dreaded "assault rifle" in the Sandy Hook shooting wasnt even used! In fact, it was never even taken into the school!

Yeah, all those teenagers committing workplace violence(what this thread is about). Nidal Hassan, 42 was a teen, so was Andrew J. Engeldinger, 36 and, the guy that has that kid in a bunker and shot a busdriver, I could go on for pages I bet.

Im not saying adults or mature adults dont commit crimes, but I would wager a large amount adolescence and teens commit more by a long shot.

I suspect it was the NBC video that saw huge circulation last week. Unfortunately, it is a dated video with seemingly bad information.

According to a January 18 statement, CT State Police said Lanza used a Bushmaster XM15 (.223 caliber), a Glock G20 (10mm), and a Sig Sauer P226 (9mm). He did have another gun in the trunk, but it was a shotgun, not an "assault rifle." It DID happen to be a Saiga-12, which looks like a "machine gun." With this whole gun control fiasco going on, every shooting will be blasted in the media. Its annoying. Like it has been said before, people have been killing people forever. Genocides are happening elsewhere in the world and we barely get informed about those. So media basically controls what the masses get informed about. Its damn near hopeless.

Funny thing is, we're so unaccustomed to guns over here, most bank and gas station robberys happen with fake (usually airsoft) weapons.
The clerks are tought to hand over register money (usually 70% of sales cash is hidden) and the robbers get cought days later.
A mass killing is just something unimaginable and gangs use their fists.
