Ok, so its been a while since Ive been downloading stuff off the net but I was wondering what the best program is for file sharing that isnt going to fuck a computer all to shit. I just spent the day fixing up my old comp with xp pro and whatnot for my sis and I want to set her up with everything else she needs, plus let her have access to music safely. I used to use Kazaa back in the day but that went to hell. Any ideas?

any program will work as long as you scan for spyware regularly. limewire, ares, shareaza, and edonkey will all be about the same as far as being a threat to your computer.Comment

I use lime wire. I have always been pretty happy with it. Your comp will always be at risk when downloading music from those kinds of programs. Just check for spyware and viruses regularly
