According to my friends dad, wife and kids bailed out like 4 months prior to this. When he originally heard the yelling, he thought it was the wife and kids that he was yelling at/beating. He sent me his story via e-mail yesterday and in it, he explained that during his time in iraq he saw people blown up, shot, etc. Nothing compared to watching this guy beat the life out of the dog with a hammer. Just plain old fucked up.

Damn it always saddens me to hear about situations like this. When I used to work at a dog shelter shit like this was all too common with dogs we saved. I'll put down another 50 when I get paid on the 21st. Going to forward this to a few dog rescue people and see if we can come up with more.

I hate to hear that. It's hard to imagine that this is happening all the time. We only hear about it when people we know mention it or the news catches wind. In any event, i appreciate it man. The more people that know, the better. As i said before, were all not in the best financial situations, but we know people that are, and if the word is spread around enough, i think the goal is easily attainable.

Yes of course, they just have the facebook attachment to make it easier for some.

Just an update as well, we are up to $650, which is amazing but still far from our goal. Spreading the link to your friends is the most valuable thing for us. Thanks so much, and i'll keep you guys posted with any news/updates/videos/pics as i receive them.
