    yeah I can't even jog, or do jumping jacks to get myself warmed up. Currently about to go see my third chiropractor to see if I can get feeling better and in shape again for snowboard season.

      i would consider a physical therapist first after your xrays. its not that i dont believe that chiropractors are onto something with their methodology, but they often do not fix the problem and end up costing you a lot of money. sports therapy seems to be a nice half-way point between traditional medicine and chiropractics. or at least in my case, thats the conclusion i drew.

        Bumping this thread-

        I fell off the wagon hard the last 5-6 months, school and work have kept me so busy I'm ashamed to say I've only been in the gym twice since November......

        Things need to change, I'm big in all the wrong ways, something I never wanted to be again.

        I need a challenge or goal, I wanted to get some of your guys ideas. I miss being big in the right way, I miss lifting heavy. I've never been ultra lean, lowest bf rating was around 13% and I'm ok with that.

        Goals, start throwing them at me. I was thinking maybe a body weight goal, or combined lifted weight goal. Maybe we start something we can all do to get us fresh and sexy for summer?

            I like the 1000lb club part but single digit bf......damn that would be TOUGH haha. My wife does Figure and her diets to hit those numbers are ridiculous.

            So 1000lbs. club based on the squat/dead/bench method?

              Haha, maybe 10% and below then! I know it's tough, but it's tougher for woman :)
              But yeah, 1000lbs based on those three compounds.
              I need to take my squat more seriously to get there.

                Same here, my wife's trainer said it looks like my ass was cut off in an elevator door haha. I hate doing it but before I stopped lifting I capped out my dead lift. my squat max is 315 and I know I couldn't even get close to that now.

                  r3v, my favorite place to put my lifting goals and aspirations.

                  just squatted 295 the other day for the first time in my life. couldn't move for a few days after that lol.

                  my bench has been plateauing as i'm still struggling to put up 250ish for a 1rm.

                  DL is at 385.

                  245+295+385=925...close but no cigar. time to cut back to 200lbs and remove this extra layer of fat i've been accumulating all winter.


                  1991 318is -> 2004 R32 -> 2002 Jetta TDI -> 2014 FiST

                    This thread bump is making me want to get back in it. Anyone know of sub 150 pounders who hit joined the club. Normal proportioned people not those insanely stocky 5 foot guys.

                    I was working my way towards it but my squat sucks. My strongest lift was the bench press LoL. Haven't gone in almost 2 years and I am not getting any younger.

                        I'm game. I'll update my squoot and my deadlooft this week sometime since I'm not entirely sure what those two are at the moment.
                        I think height, weight, & lifts are enough. BF% would just have to be an honest estimate I guess.

                          Made it into the 1000lb club last month with a 415dl, 340sqt and 245 bench. Yup, made it exactly 1000lbs. Going to be a real struggle to put much weight onto that though with current training trying to achieve a mid 8 minute 1.5 mile.

                          Current stats 6'1" 185lbs. Bf% would be a guesstimate, not single digits though.

                            Ok lets see if we can get our stats rounded up throughout the week. I'm going to scratch my current PR's as I couldn't hit one of them if I tried.

                            As of this morning in 265lbs. 6-0".

                              You're built like Magnus Ver Magnusson. Should be able to hit 1000 lbs with just 2 lifts if you made power lifting a full time job.

                              Going to shoot for the 800 pound club myself first. Then see how much I can add to that.

                                if memory serves me correctly last summer my PRs were

                                Squat 315x5
                                dead 545x1
                                bench 275x3

                                So I know I was probably over. I never really tried for 1 rep max with squat and bench as I don;t always lift with a partner, deads are different.

                                I have really long arms and legs and a short torso. So pulling sumo is my magic trick. I have such long levels though that squats and bench kill me. I've been forever cursed with a gut haha. even when I was down at 13% my abs bulged past my rib cage haha.
