What animals have you hit with your(a)car?

I've hit a raccoon with my skidplate, hit left over dear bits with my front lip, and hit a bunny up at college in my Accord.

When in highschool I was riding bitch and my girlfriend and I came over this crest in the road . Saw a person on horse back on our left side and did not slow down. Well turns out that person had a dog that was walking in the middle of the road and we just went right over it. My girlfriend started screaming like crazy as she freaked out . I yelled pull over and she just kept on going. Poor karma move! Easily panicked frenetic young girl she was!

Then there was the time I was riding my SportBike and getting onto a freeway onramp. Got up to 70 in seconds. Then off to the right side I see this pideon flying right into my path and I think no way is it going to hit me. Slammed me right in the forehead area of the helmet with my visor open and was caught in that spot long enough to crap right onto me and my gas tank. It took every bit of effort I could muster to hold onto the bars and not go off the back. I swear I was holding on by fingernails there for a moment.

Had to wash all that bird crap off... Ugggh !


I also hit a very large Canadian Goose on Hwy 395 between Washoe Valley NV and Reno. Was headed to the Reno airport to fly back to San Jose . 2 big geese flew in front of the VW Jetta I was driving with my girlfriend. The geese were hit with a strong downdraft of wind right as they crossed in front of us. One could not pull up in time and BOOM! Sounded like someone shot a shotgun inside the car. Windshield was totally shattered and goose came through. Was literally inches from my face. Glass everywhere. Blood on the seats and interior. What a mess.

Last week on Tuesday I ran over either a cat or a skunk after dark on Highway 50 after Fresh Pond and before Placerville. There was no avoiding it and I am not going to steer off into a ditch over a skunk or a wild cat.

I've only ever hit what I believe to be a crow, it was a black bird, doing freeway speeds heading to the E30 picnic. I saw him come down a power post and he dove right level with the windshield, smacked it doing 80ish.

I hope he's ok.

Took out a possum once with the cow catcher on my old es. Was on a backroad and came around a corner real quick. I wasn't going to swerve for a rodent so I kept in it. Luckily the fog light was fine but I had a grip of fur and blood in the passenger fog opening.

3 kangaroos, 2 possums, 2 foxes and a kitten.

Also hit plenty of birds while riding motor bikes. It can be pretty hard to hold on when you hit a galah at 110km/h.

A buddy and I were in his civic on a country road I had to hold the wheel for a sec while he ripped the bowl a possum darted out so he grabbed the wheel and yanked left and I yanked right. The wheel went no where and we drove over the possum =( poor little guy. We went back and finished the bowl in his memory.

Had a deer hit me once. Ran into the side of the car while I was doing 45 on the highway.

Also OBLITERATED a bird on the freeway doing about 70. Hit right in front of the rear view mirror.

I don't think i've really hit anything. Have had animials come out of nowhere and hit my car or truck.
