I remember arguing with Ove Kvam on BEN about how AFMs can't measure mass, only volume. That was a good 5 years ago when I bought my first E30, the black 88iS. Then like everybody else I did the E3S thing and now I'm here.

Common sense- It's the new 'gifted'

Finally, to see him swear off the internet and pass off the server only to keep the name so he has some power when he cant swear off the internet.

And I predict it will include some other form of similar drama before his lease on the domain is up (if he lets it lapse).
Well then i guess im a OG, i've been around since E30sport

Looking for info on the E30,
I remember when I wanted to do a Euro S50 conversion and there where about 5 in the world I knew off,

        two guys in Germany
        and somebody in the UK.
Well it was DARK TIMES back then.

I still remember talking to enine back in the BEN chat room, that was fun
Since ´97 I have meet up with 2 guys from diffrent countries,
Were all the same no matter the country we live in..

Yeah thats a trippy part for me. That I have kicked it with and have hosted for people that came to L.A. from other continents that i only knew on the forums and I know they would give me a place to stay in any of their countries if I went. How else would I know people in Germany like Markus, or Martin in the UK, or any plethora of E30 homies from down under. Any of the surrounding state E30 guys staying at my pad like Jordan or Lukas when they were passing through. Its like a network of like-minded enthusiasts. I think thats something thats pretty cool. Aww, how nice and fuzzy.

                  I´m 1894,
I´m sure not many remember that BEN used to be Gustave Melo´s E30 site.
I also remember when the www.e30.de site was starting to roll.

You want old?? I´m # 92 on the BEN Registry,
                  Also 704 and 1284..

                  I couldn´t sign up sooner as I didn´t have a E30 before that.

What I hated about BEN was that the post where so many every day
that if you post didn´t recive any feedback it was off the list the next day.
And the list showed 1400 posts

But I see they alow 10000+ now

HAHA, weren't you getting hassled by your father into driving a Pathfinder a few years back?

Yep. He kinda had me by the balls on that one. I was in private school and as a result didnt have a job to pay for all the parts I needed for my car. He gave me his Pathfinder and took the e30 in trade. Sold it for 800 bucks for parts. It was my first e30 and a total POS so it wasnt a huge loss in retrospect (I mean we only got 800 bucks for an 88 is, it definately wasnt a great car) but he pretty much manhandled me into it. Made me kinda pissed at the time but now Im back with a bettter car.
