BEN, then the money ran out, so we scurried to DTM, and somehow (I really don't recall) I was on Rob's "peanut gallery" then to E3S, then R3V...has it really been since 1999? Jesus christ.

I think to be OG you had to be around when it was E30sport and then saw Jordan throw a fit, fight with TJ, and shut down e30sport. Then join the first r3v, see Jordan throw another fit, fight with himself, and shut it down. Then return to the same r3v when he opened it back up. Finally, to see him swear off the internet and pass off the server only to keep the name so he has some power when he cant swear off the internet.

And I predict it will include some other form of similar drama before his lease on the domain is up (if he lets it lapse).

not much. E30 is going into the body shop this weekend to have all the rot removed and new panels welded in. Then I'm having it painted, smoothed and blended...

So what about some of the banned OG's? Remember those guys, like IsarRacing (Chris Isar), and SuperEta (Ryan)? I remember when Isar got banned, he tried to start his own forum called e30evolution.net, and tried to get me to join it, and wanted to make me a mod on it and all this shit. Then he wrecked his E30 that his parents paid for, and sliced up his arms and went nuts. He's got another one now, and his dad has one, too. At last year's picnic, he was there in this ratty old S10 trying to sell a bunch of beat to shit E30 parts out of the bed of it. :D

You've had the same E30 for 16 years in Canada? How hard have you had to work to keep it in good condition?

I still remember how my father ended up choosing between the 318iS and the 325iS. After a test drive in a black 318, he said it felt like a better sorted version of his Celica GT-S (an '85, the last RWD one made). Not much grunt, but had soul. Within 2 blocks of pulling a white 325iS out of the dealer lot, a white Trans Am complete with screaming gold chicken and matching wire wheels started revving at the lights. We prompty smoked it and headed straight back for the dealer...my dad decided he found the perfect car.

I still have all of the original sales brochures and option lists, even a brochure listing M-tech II bodyparts for sale as accessories. This car is seriously a part of the family.
