broke my toe..how long is this little bitch going to hurt

Calling all victims of stubbing and breaking their little toes.

I'm starting to lose some patience with being a patient with a broken little toe. Read some crap online saying thee weeks to heal, then 4-6 weeks, but I'm at almost eight weeks and this POS doesn't feel much better than week two.

In laymans terms, completely snapped the bone next to the end bone of my little toe. X-ray says 75 percent healed @ 6 weeks. So it's growing together ( good) and I'm out of my walking boot ( good) but it's still crappy feeling even in my little stiff soled post-op shoe, or what they give you to walk around the nursing home when you are drooling on yourself incoherently. Someone else has to have walked in my shoes with this, if I could only walk in shoes now.

Happened to me in grade school, same toe, left foot. It healed pretty quickly, maybe three-four weeks, never had another problem.

In high school broke a bone in the ball of my right foot. Still hurts sometimes, twenty five years later.

I broke my middle toe at a pool a few years ago. I let it heal itself, took maybe 4 weeks? No doctors, no cast, etc. It's just a toe. Sucker looked like I had black plague on it for like two weeks.

Broke a chip out of the socket of my big toe, left foot in grade 10 doing some rail slide skateboard thing in front of my house, went to hospital did the x-ray and all that with my step mom, yada yada, and afterward, went to meet up with pops at his old timers softball game...

Walking across the outfield, as the old farts never, ever cranked it that far...

Broke my pinky toe during basketball season. Hurt for about 2 months but that was probably cause I never gave it time to heal cause I was always moving.

I stubbed mine pretty badly a week or two ago, dunno if I broke it or not. Google "buddy tape" if you're not seeing a doctor, and try to keep off of it, etc. Mine was mostly fine after a few days.
