How do you guys do it?
Craigslist is sin for me. If something pops up local/semi-local that is a good deal I have to have it and I'll find a way to do so.
I currently have 6 set of wheels not on cars, a pair of wheels, and a single 21" Alpina wheel that I couldn't walk away from. It's shameful.
I got a set of BBS RS005/6 wheels for $200. A set of E38 Style 5's for $50. A set of Corrado BBS RZ's for $60. A set of 15" Ronal R9's for $60.
These are deals that an enthusiast can't pass up right?
I have probably 20 or so alerts set up on my phone for keywords on Craigslists local to me. And when something pops up that's a good deal I usually start shuffling money immediately to figure out how I'm going to afford it.
The only thing that works for me is to wait a couple of days until I calm down and let the "high" subside.
Eventually I will be on A&E as the first wheel hoarder. Powdercoat filling my lungs, sleeping on a mattress stacked on wheels in complete denial that I need to stop.
