Yep, and yep. Just like any other car battery being used to jump. Including those in another cars. A jump start battery is essentially a small car battery with higher amperage but smaller reserve, more plastic casing, leads, and a built in charger.

In all seriousness though. Just pick a light jump pack. You live in a warm environment where you don't have to worry about the CCA as much as I do. You just asked for the best/lightest possibility ;). When I worked the parts industry at advance, Clore's were pretty much my go to for shops that needed one.

Cool! Yes, but that's not problem. I even import crank, tires, and what not from USA (Miami FL) since I do work with a export warehouse that ships the goods of the shop and that's where I include my own stuff :)

Oh yea I've seen those freight forwarders there. They send a lot to Cuba and Latin America. But I weighed the JNC 300 out for you. Took it out of the box but it still had the plastic wrap over the unit, weighed 8.80 pounds.

Once you decide which one you want send me a PM, I might be able to help.

It looked decently built. Let me know if you need one of the bigger ones or anything. I will let you know my pricing on them.
