well the insurance said that her car has 3500+ worth of damage and thats not even including the damage to the 4wd. Her car is more than likely gonna be totalled :( I think it would be cool if she had a 325ix but this jeep has been a great car for her. and she doesn't need like a honda or something that she would have to put chains on to get around here in Boone. Thats the reason she got a 4wd car.

What a shame, that's nothing...we could repair that Jeep for half price of it and top quality job. Too bad USA has a expensive handwork.

If the freaking 4wd wasn't screwed I would buy it back from the insurance for her and fix it myself. its not that bad but you know how new part prices add up to 3500+ VERY fast. the 325ix does really well on icy hills right....thats w/ snow/ice tires?? Boone gets really snowy and icy....they do clean up quick but not even fwd cuts it...you either need awd/4wd or chains. I don't really want her to sit outside putting chains on her car. Anyone know of a 325is thats in really good cond.? If her jeep is totalled she should have enough for a very nice reliable 325ix.

FWIW... my sister slid down a hill near boone in her 2WD montero sport last weekend and got stuck... her friend that came to pull her out in his 4WD chevy truck w/ chains go stuck as well.
haha I don't know if she would even want a e30 beacuse its "old"...its just an idea b/c her jeepy didn't get more than like 15mpg in the mountains. that jeep is a beast though...it could go up any icy hill she tried w/out even sliping her wheels at ALL. it was funny b/c one time I was at her appartment and the driveway is a huge hill that turns into ice. There were people in the parking lot w/ fwd cars that could not even get out of their parking spots. She came outside b/c she wanted to go shopping w/ a friend...put it in 4wd and just drove off...everyone else was like WTF?!?!?! how did she do that....the others had to get a tow truck to get them out.
