    Most people will say that 15% is proper. I generally tip 20%, sometimes more if the service is good.

    Depending on how great the service was, I usually tip about 25%. i.e, $20 bill I'll leave $5.


    I'm a server, so I know how dependent people are on tips.

    i tip really well i tip a minimum of $5 anywhere i go but i'm also picky with my servers too where i wont tip, if they are really good i tip more because for the job they do alot of servers do not make enough money with the shit they deal with.

    After reading the comic below, I've realized that you Americans really tip your servers and waiters really well (20%). This was confirmed upon a recent visit to the US.

    Up here in Canada I think it's still the 10% I'm not totally sure, as I don't eat out. But when I did, it was usually 10%
