Most people will say that 15% is proper. I generally tip 20%, sometimes more if the service is good. -
Depending on how great the service was, I usually tip about 25%. i.e, $20 bill I'll leave $5.

i tip really well i tip a minimum of $5 anywhere i go but i'm also picky with my servers too where i wont tip, if they are really good i tip more because for the job they do alot of servers do not make enough money with the shit they deal with.Leave a comment:

What's the usual tip to give at restaurants in the US?
After reading the comic below, I've realized that you Americans really tip your servers and waiters really well (20%). This was confirmed upon a recent visit to the US.
Up here in Canada I think it's still the 10% I'm not totally sure, as I don't eat out. But when I did, it was usually 10%
