    iPhone got wet

Has anybody's iPhone ever worked right after being submerged in water?

Light it on fire. Guaranteed to completely get rid of all the water that is currently residing in the device.

Dipped mine in a hot tub one time for like a second. Put it in some rice and put a hot lamp over it and let it dry out for awhile. Still works 100%

Leave it in a jar of fresh coca-cola over night. It will come out working faster than ever and be extra shiny.

Microwave it. All the water will boil off.

None of the above. Rice doesn't do anything. Rice does not have the ability to absorb moisture that it doesn't come into direct contact with. Best bet is to let it sit in front of a fan for a week or so without attempting to power it on.

I've heard putting it into a cooler or some sort of sealed box with a package of that Damp-rid stuff works pretty well. I haven't tried it myself but the good old rice in a ziploc bag trick has always worked.

Are you sure about that? Literally 100% of everything I've ever heard on the subject suggests that raw rice is your best bet.

If you can take the back off and blow dry it. Worked for me several times.

Get insurance then wait a day and tell them its broke.

I dropped my galaxy s3 in a sink full of water while talking on it and I picked it up and kept talking lol Wiped it off and it was fine
