Dipped mine in a hot tub one time for like a second. Put it in some rice and put a hot lamp over it and let it dry out for awhile. Still works 100%

None of the above. Rice doesn't do anything. Rice does not have the ability to absorb moisture that it doesn't come into direct contact with. Best bet is to let it sit in front of a fan for a week or so without attempting to power it on.'86 325es M50Comment

I've heard putting it into a cooler or some sort of sealed box with a package of that Damp-rid stuff works pretty well. I haven't tried it myself but the good old rice in a ziploc bag trick has always worked.
