I use to live in Valdosta,Ga from late 1975 to early 1977 then my dad retired from the Air Force after 21 years and we moved out to SoCal afterwards. I hated it there,it was hot and muggy,the nat's and locust and did i say it was muggy and hot. Blah ! Considering we moved from Las Vegas which we lived there from 1971 to 1975 and we had very dry heat there. He's already moved to GA. And North Ga has way better weather than South Ga, I'm from North, GA and go to school in South GA fairly close to Valdosta, in Statesboro. The weather is pretty bad, can't wait to transfer Georgia Tech and live back in North Ga. Cali is pretty cool, but I'd much rather live in NorCal.Comment

I have been to socal, loved it, and yes we have been here close to 4mnths now. Things have been good. I want to go to Helen Ga but that's a 2hr drive so that will be a trip I make one day. anyone near loganville???? Would like to do a meet up/drive closer to there. I am very close to Stone Mtn if that helps?Comment
