Had a redneck in a lifted pickup do that to me once (near Yuba City).

When it became clear he wasn't going to leave me alone, I turned back south the way I came from, saw him park on the side of the road (looked like he was waiting for me to go north again), kept going south for another mile or so, and then took an alternate route north.

I have an extensible baton I keep under my seat in case anyone wants to get that kind of stupid again. 6-cell Maglite works too.

This one dude tailed me all the way to my GF's house. I didn't even notice. As I got outta my car he started reamin me out for cuttin him off in traffic (this is Canaduh, that's all he could do).

After that he left. Crazy dude

Dude Pantless next time get his front licens plate and put it in your phone that way you have a way to track him down if he does anything. Some people are just really angry and need an outlet for their anger. They find a target and go for it. No rime or resin. He probably just didn't like your car or something.
I live near you and there are some hot heads in that area. I was back in the bay area durring winter brake to see the GF and this big lifted SUV cut me off hard in the fast lane, brake checked me, then went back over to the next lane to the right and fallowed me for a bit. No provocation, speeding or wrong doing on my part. It was strange. Sadly for the SUV it could not keep up with my GF 135i so no fallowing for that chump. I think he was trying to get me to rear end him for an insurance pay out.

Agressive acts like this call for aggressive counter action. Last time something like this happened to me, I pulled into a Burger King parking lot, and went after the dude. As soon as I got out of the car, red "will kill you" crazy eyes blaring, he was hesitant to get out of his car. I was at his door before he was fully out, slammed the door on him as he was exiting, and squished him between the door and the body, and almost broke his neck in the process. That quieted him right down. A forearm to the collar bone, a girly yelp, and he sort of melted back into his seat. Running just escalates the situation to a dumber level.

Confronting someone like this can easily get you killed. Road ragers tend to carry.

This. Some ones rade rage is not worth getting beat up, killed, having your car damaged, or getting charged with assault when you arent even the guy who started it. Take their licens plate, make and model and then try to remove your self from the situation. If they try and escalate call the popo. If there is a direct and immanent threat to your life, then you fight back for all its worth preferably with a bat or a boom stick

Tough to get a license plate number, make, model or driver description when you are looking in your rear view mirror running away dialing your phone. I stand and turn the situation around.
