    Valvoline VR1 on sale.

I figure I'm not the only one who uses this oil. So I wanted to let everyone know that it should be on sale at Autozone for $4 a quart, until the 29th. I already bought 24 quarts and saved $50, it's a pretty sweet deal.

forgive my ignorance but I always thought valvoline wasn't as great a quality oil compared to castrol or mobil1?

                School me please.

VR1 has high levels of zinc which most normal oil does not. Good for flat tappet/solid lifter engines.

                    Helps this not to happen.

                      This man knows.

Also, when it goes on sale yearly (now) it is the best oil for the money, hands down. I run it in my 911, prob get a case or two to replenish my stock for the year.

Have been running it in my M50 for track. It has a high index and takes the heat really well (no cooler).
Great oil for the price imo.

Valvoline VR1 kicks ass. You should all be running it in your M20 engines. Seriously.
