Layer Cake - Pre-Bond Daniel Craig badassery, excellent soundtrack
Run Lola Run - German indie cinema at it's finest, killer techno soundtrack
City of Lost Children - French indie cinema with a serious dark side, also check out "Delicatessen", same director/cast, much funnier
Scratch - One of the best documentaries ever made, focused on DJs and turntablism, you don't even have to be into hip hop
KIDS - Harmony Korrine's shocking documentary/original film about 90's New York street kids. Filmed on all real locations in NYC with all real NYC kids as extras
The Fog of War - Errol Morris documentary about Robert F. MacNamara, secretary of defense during the Cold War
House of Sand and Fog - Excellent film about a girl who loses her family's foreclosed house to an Iranian man and his family, and refuses to let it go until it spirals out of control, Jennifer Connely and Ben Kingsley
Wonderland - Dual-vantage point retelling of the Wonderland murders in Hollywood, which former porn actor John Holmes was alleged to have committed, though never proven

Yep, you've got to have your sketchy-head on to watch Kids. I still to this day can't get all the way through Gummo, it's like chewing on tinfoil.

            I don't think I can watch Gummo.

Based on your recommendation I will start Layer Cake tonight probably.

I am surprised that no one has listed Initial D as yet.

Never seen it, eh? EXCELLENT British crime drama, with some good funny lines. Michael Gambon, too.

^ I didn't get a chance to watch it last night - soon though. Sounds great.

Racing Scene is way underrated. A "must watch" for motorsports fans.
