Most people dont wanna spend 2 hours watching a bunch of crying guys running around with 3 minutes of exciting action, and have a game end 1-0.
speaking for my self, its not about the scoring ( although it does ad a LOT to the game) , its about the build up play, runs made and playmaking that make it exciting, when you watch a good team you spend most of the time thinking " holy shit, how did he even think of that?!" thats a big reason i like it.
i do hate the time wasting a whole fucking lot, it doesnt happen so much in spain and england but it does happen here a lot. but as mentioned a few posts ago, its used as legal cheating.

Dont get me wrong, there are some talented guys out there playing like Messi that are fun to watch. But even watching their incredible ball skills isn't enough to make me watch the rest of it..

^^^^ maybe if they put his ear on ice, they could re-attach it later or something.

nah, most people i know find soccer incredibly boring to watch, unless your kid is out there.

case in point- blake griffin flops as bad as the op video, yet is admired by many.

Flopping pisses me off something fierce. I played all through highschool, and in playoffs my senior year there was one guy that every time I got within 5 feet would just fall down. After a few times of it being called I decided if I was going to do the time, might as well do the crime. Fucker got what he deserved though.

Btw, that sniper video was hilarious.

I think the reason why americans hate soccer is because the MLS is full of worn out old european players. When I watch MLS games it looks like the league is a retirement home for former stars from europe.

maybe because it competes with the NFL? thats a intersting point.
there are 7s tournaments on espn every once in a while but no big games.
