I happen to be pretty familiar with the big blue oval. With the mods you have listed on his car I would say he is operating around 300 hp at crank. I own a 351 windsor with j302 heads ( frpp's aluminum hi po predecessor to the gt40 head), B&M's 177 ci blower, custom large tube headers, worked 750 holley( milled choke horn, annular booster, bowl extensions,etc, msd, cam, the list goes on and on. With all that I think I was making somewhere around 450-500 hp. Never had it dynoed but my best time slip was an 11.90 at 127, with a 1.9(lousy) 60' time. It was in a 67 fastback, that car simply could not hook up, due to lack of driving skill and bad suspension. The motor has since been installed in an 86 gt built for drag racing but is still incomplete. I've been meaning to go into the trailer to get some pics of my two stangs for a while, maybe this will encourage me to do it.

Honestly that foxbody is pushing 340whp tops. Aluminum heads, cam, possibly an intake manifold and other odds and ends, thats where it would be

What? lol Foxbodys have 215-220 BHP not WHP, Only reason they seem quick to people is they are loud and have some low end torque. Drive one and you'll see past 4k rpm they dont move much lol with those mods that car is no where close to even 300 whp

Exactly, Ive built a few 5.0s and 460s and its almost embarrasing these guys with stock 302s with headers and 4:10 gears think they can trash anybody. I had a 02 gt try messing with me in my m5 and I just laughed and walked on him in 5th gear lol



Anyway op there will always be people like this, they key is meekness. You know you can beat him and that he is a loser with a gay over rated car. So just let him think he is all that, one day it'll come back and bite him and he will be the next guy crashing into a house.

Thats about point on. He did recently have a 4:10 in the rear but went to 3:25 for gas. His dumb ass said if he still had his 4:10 his mustang could outrun my gixxer 750. Thats when i really gave up....

Just for a point of reference. I just finished building up a 302. I stroked it to 331 with a fully balanced rotating assembly from eagle. Patriot aluminum heads. Mild street cam, and holly 650 4 barrel. My machinist who helped me with the build is an old school guy who has seen it all says its going to may 390-400HP at the crank. Therefore I highly doubt that kid is pushing over 300 to the wheels with GT40 heads and a mild cam.
