My girlfriends trying to convince me to keep this little shit.

my dog looked exactly like that when it was a puppy. ill try and find a pic of him now so you know what you have to look forward to.

If you are not in the northern parts of AZ and even then the summer can be rough on huskies. I love my husky pup, but we live where its cold. If you do get one be prepared to brush out and throw away multiple 10 gallon bags of hair twice a year.

Nope, the hot part. Any dog I've had/my parents had have been a inside dog who has access to the outside. If they went outside during the middle of the day they'd get a hose shower. They even had an air conditioned room for themselves to keep the dirt secluded too. I don't believe in outside only dogs - especially here, that's cruel. I guess that's why the Pet Rescue show on animal planet records here. :/

Great Pyrenees are the same way, they shed an insane amount. I'm not too worried about it, just means cleaning the house more which isn't a bad thing.

yeah I agree indoor/outdoor dogs are the best. thats the way mine is. But I dont think I could bring myself to subject a husky to the 110* summers of AZ even if his outside time is limited. When it gets up above 75-80 all mine does is lay on his back in front of the air conditioner vent trying to keep cool, and gives us dirty looks when we say "outside". Any other time of year you say "outside" or "walk" and he gets so excited you cant hardly get a leash on him.

Just picked up this little guy, we live in an apartment and work a decent amount so we need a smaller sort of chill dog.

His name is Cooper, he instinctually wants to pee and poop outside!
