Came here to post this. I don't always wear shoes in the summer, but when I do they're typically Top-Siders.

They aren't extra stinky. They actually stink less than most shoes I don't wear socks in, I think

My sperry's and tom's have been good to me. Nice to where on a hot day when socks are undesired. And got each for good prices

Picked up a pair of TOMS, I read more about how nice they feel than anything else. Sure the cloth is thin, but that is good. I love light shoes and I am not going hiking or whatever in them.

They look similar, but they are different. I think it's a style similarity, their (blundstone) sizes don't seem to go as large, I wear a 15/16AU. And the body/upper is different, along with the sole.

I'm not a huge fan of Toms, as they all wear out pretty quickly, let alone for a $70 pair of shoes, but I've had these forever and love them. First time wearing them was a 3 week trip in Europe, walked everywhere. The big difference is a rubber sole, as apposed to the Toms reglar of a fabric bottom.

sanuk's are great! i was going to suggest them but you beat me to it haha. One of the members at the country club I work at actually owned Sanuk and is still the CEO. Super popular with my surf friends, heard nothing but great reviews, pretty sure if they smell you just wash em

Those are classics man, always liked those but, I'm sticking with a pair of PUMAS ortho-lites, that I picked up at Macys awhile back.
They are not great for support at all (specially for a big dude) but they are stylish and look good, even though they have laces like the top siders.

I have a pair of Vans slip ons I`ve been rocking for a while and a pair of Circas that have held up longer than I have come to expect from Circas.

How long can you wear them without socks before they get stinkey and need to me washed?
Does washing them deteriorate its longevity?

Brandon I feel like you might like the wino by emerica.
Nice thin feel, classic look kinda like keds, and pretty much universal. Not to mention the price. I've never had a pair of winos personally but the sister shoe (emerica laced) use to be my favorite shoe for a long ass time.

And if you are down to spend a little more money Nike (use to be "SB" ) janoskis are the shit, super durable and classy as hell (depends on color way chosen)

You could use elastic ribbon from the Wal-Mart craft section and turn any laced shoe into a slip-on! Only have to tie it once and you're set.
