    Slip on shoes.

Summer is just around the bend here in NY and it is around 60s all the time now. My Airwalk and Vans slip ons have HAD IT. I am looking into Toms shoes and was wondering if anyone wears them.
Comfort, build and wear is things that I would like to know. 50 bucks for a shoe is not bad at all. But some reviews online are not so good on them. I do not give a shit about their cause etc.
I wear slip ons and sandals all summer for convenience and comfort.

Post up any other slip on you love.

These are the pair I am thinking about:

Puma el rays. My all time favorite slip on, not exactly like the ones you posted but still slip ons.

I like my moccasins, they are pretty damn comfortable. If you don't want to get raped and pillaged by blood-thirsty Europeans, however, I suggest Reef. Same comfort as their sandals, but in a shoe. I have a pair of these and they're quite nice.

50/shoes is a lot to me especially for TOMS.
Those shits are paper thin. I always assumed the price tag reflected on their special cause.
How else can they afford to give a pair away when you buy one for 50 lol. For style points, sure. For quality everyday shoes, lord no.

I wear all my shoes like slip ons though and only re-tie them when I'm about to do some srs bsnss type stuff.

Vans are pretty good at resisting wear and tear IMO.

I've had Reef sandals for a few years and they have been the best in comfort and held up through everything. In fact, they're what I wear whenever I work on the car. I might have to look into their slip-ons

I wanted a bit more style to my slip ons as Vans do not look classy. I always desire wearing my slip ons wherever I go but sometimes I just cannot as they are not suited for style. But TOMS seems to offer some crazy good looking shoes at an ok price. I tend to spend a lot on shoes and have over 12 pairs of Pumas alone. Not to mention 4 pairs of driving loafers from Johnston and Murphy. Clark Chukkas etc

This is the brand I wanted but they only offer up to 12. Sucks being a size 14, ALWAYS have to pay more sigh. Or never get them in your size.

                Edit:
Grabbed these a few minutes ago, cheap and 100& cotton. Let's see how they work ;)
No reason Toms should cost that much, they cannot cost more than 10.00 to make. The "Ninja shoes" look promising and have a clean look to them. Going to stitch them with white to give some contrast and see how they wear.

I don't really like slip on shoes, but TOMS are okay. They're kind of thin so they can wear out fairly quick if you wear them a lot.

Do you get stinky feet with those reef slip on's?

I've wanted these for a while, but my friend says he's feet started to stink badly after a few hot days.

vans are the way to go IMO...toms i always felt like were really made for girls, but maybe i'm just weird. another good classic choice that i feel you can never go wrong with is a clean pair of chuck taylors.

i currently own i think like 5 or 6 pairs of vans and love them all. i can make all of them work for whatever i'm deciding to wear
if going out to do serious shenanigans, i wear my creative recs

i also make all my shoes slip ons and only tie them when they get untied besides my dress shoes

Those look almost the same as the blundstone steel toes I have. Regional branding?
