Thats what I tried to do. Police will not file a report. So I tried to get the drivers info so I could contact his insurance company, but the only connection I have to that is the tow company who won't respond.

Leaving the scene of an accident? Go off the road is a an accident per the ways of the law correct? Report the accident to police and tell them basically the info you have.

I extremely doubt that the police are gonna do squat but refer you to civil authorities. Next would be small claims court.

Ditto with that, I asked the clowns to help back up a small claims suit with me but they said "Bite It" The good thing is I had photographed them towing my car away. So that helped my suit when I told the Judge my side of the story.
