A lincoln with basketweaves? (NWS probably)

Okay, so I realize I'll get flooded with "ghey" accusations for even noticing this, but I found this picture trying to figure out what someone's avatar pic said and the wheels on the Lincoln look a lot like Euroweaves, don't they?

Also, this is the picture I was trying to find:

Yes Lincoln use wheels that look like weaves. I'm actually astounded you are just finding this out.

Weaves weren't BMW-specific (although it was the most popular); after all, they were made by BBS.

From what I've seen ford/Lincoln weaves weren't made by BBS, every ford Lincoln weave I've seen at the junk yard wasn't stamped BBS

              Welp,

I don't have much (any) contact with those cars since we haven't owned anything American other than trucks, and I definitely don't give them much attention on the road. I am surprised I've never noticed them on a Miata, though.

You're not the only one who noticed the same thing. Don't feel bad.

My father had a Lincoln Mark VII when I was in highschool, I polished the lips of the wheels back then, looked just like these wheels.

                        Add a 5 speed and a supercharger. 5.0.
