I'm with you on your beer tastes though. I find it disturbing that you have 1 New Belgian Brewing company beer in cali: fat tire... There are such better beers out there.

I suppose if it didn't get down past the 50s here, i'd be drinking summer beers all the time though.

everything has a time and place beerwise. you don't pound smithwicks at a kegger and you don't order miller lite at pub. well, at least i dont. pacifico is the quintessential warm weather beer around here, goes great with a shrimp burrito or fish tacos from bahia. omg now i must leave.

Rofl I got called 12, I mean ya, I do agree in warm weather Pacifico is a damn good beer especailly with a nice burrito or something of that nature, But Im not in Commie cali, Im Chronice land aka Oregon, we like heavier more mature complex beers up here. man Im fucked when I turn 21 in 11 months.

come to germany for the REAL beer. Every year when i go back to chicago, I miss the german beer so much. honestly, 6 buds is equal to 1 good german "farmer" beer. i live just outside a small town called Bamberg- it is known for its smoked beer(tastes like shitty ass bacon), and also known for having 150 breweries back in the days. Beer is just as important to the germans here in bavaria as religion, if not a little more important.

Locally, we have a Brewery called Boulevard. Its the shit. Its brewed in german tradition in an actual german brewhouse that *I think* they got by building a church for the town. The town had more breweries than churches.
