i had an ipad 3 that work supplied. I loved it. They paid for internet service which was even better. I used it often, and a lot at home because it was easier to surf the net than to get out a laptop. I used it to post things on the net, but never to write actual documents. i would say go with a case because it did seem fragile, and i feared dropping it.

I have an Acer tablet, works pretty good with the latest android version, very smooth and not laggy. I use it errryday!

Both of my parents have iPads. Mom has the newest one, dad has the gen before it. We use them almost everyday.

Just to clarify, I'm looking to make something for an iPad/tablet. I'm not actually looking to buy one.
