if anyone wants a ratty 260z with a "recently-rebuilt" motor for real cheap, I know of one in Belmont. It's been standing for at least 2 years, so it's a resto project, but a pretty decent base to work from. I'm not sure if it's pre-smog.

        It's exempt from smog testing.

maybe in non-california. In CA, if it's a '76 or newer, it has to be smogged.

I really love these cars. Sexy as hell, huge bonnet that can fit almost anything and even looks great with fender mirrors. Unfortunately when you see them they tend to be older and in worse shape than E30s. I found a crack free dash for one on craigslist once... $1k.

I'd still really love to pick one up one day. Knew a guy who had a nice one with a 3.0 stroker, sounded heavenly.

And if Rebello's HP claims are accurate, it'll make more than just 300hp. Give this a read too: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/9003...-not-56k-safe/
WTF are you saying? I don't even .... Your link describes an amount of work very few have bothered taking the M20 to (partially thanks to twits like you spouting idiocy).

If you're even going to get close to an apples to apples comparison, enjoy reading in here for a bit .... http://speedtalk.com/forum/viewtopic...31132&start=30

And as Lorin already said the M20 has nothing to do with the M10 or M30.

Now that being said, love the old Z's. We let this one go several months back, was a beast.

The 2+2's are definitely good looking rides, would make a sweet cruiser with a LS swap.

I don't see how anyone can be anything but in love with these lines....

                        Z-curves mmmmmmmm

Also, stumbled across this a couple weeks back... Drooooooool :)

Just going to leave that there.

                            First off, two cool shots...

Back to the Zs. Adam Corolla didn't race Sunday.

And some German stuff lifting wheels...

The link to the full album, there is lots of good stuff in it.

                            Enjoy,
