Anyone try Grassmilk yet?

So I kinda gave up on the vegan thing. sure I felt good and all for a while, but I started getting sick of taking pills to supplement my body all the stuff it needs. So I slowly started adding small amounts of dairy and eggs to my diet. So far it's going awesome!

Anyway, recently I read the benefits of high-end full fat milks on the market. They were that grass fed cows have the most naturally occuring vitamins and minerals in the milk(not fortified like that cheap garbage). Not only that, but that the fat in the milk actually does not cause you to get fat, nor high cholesterol (when consumed in reasonable quantities, obviously). But the main kicker for me is the TASTE! I tell ya, I though coconut milk in recipes was good, but it's nothing compared to this stuff!

Yesterday the GF and I went to WF in Seattle and I got a carton of non-homoginised, full fat, grass fed milk. It's amazing to open a carton of milk that needs to be shaken, because the milk has fat naturally on the top. The color has a soft lumpy, buttery appearance...just how I like my ladies ;)

Anyway, just wanted to share with you 'mericans how lucky you guys are to have this stuff, it freakin ROCKS!!!!

And, I never thought of it that way, but I can do this whenever I want. Benefit of moving to where I did, and working where I worked.

Also, I feed my goats non-GMO alfalfa/grass (This stuff is actually really hard to find, 90%+ of the alfalfa grown is GMO to withstand pesticides used to cut noxious weed infestation in the fields, because weeds give a nasty tasting milk...), and they graze my pasture. I gotta say, I really enjoy the milk of my goats. And, you haven't lived until you've drank hot milk right out the teet.

Adult humans aren't supposed to drink milk, but if you really want to be a baby cow that is probably the best cow's milk to drink.
