Review:
I bought the Winston set for myself and the Truman orange set is for my brother.
They come in a great box that has little cut out holders for each item. First impressions are; attention to details and craftsmanship.
The handles are very well designed with an H recessed into the base. Very clean design and function. The heads pop off with a slide motion from the handle collar below the blade head.
The Truman handle has a great semi hard polymer surface(zinc core) with the H plated to the surface.
Items in Winston set:
-Metal handle
-3 blades(two in blade box/one on handle)
-Shaving cream
-Shaving guide and prep steps
*Great for a new shaver, tips on how to understand the way your hair grows.
Also how to prep the hair to become soft and neat facts of how hard the hair is.
Shaving use/product:
The blade head is different than what I am used to. It has a neat paint brush like stroke and feel to it. Unlike common household name brands that have a pivoting axis of around 45 degrees. The Harry's blade head bends with ease to your neck shape. As someone that paints(not well) I LOVED the feel.
The blades perform like a blade should, clean smooth and without snagging. I have very thick hairs that tend to snag or pull when I shave my neck.
I believe the way they set up the blades uniform order goes in hand with the head brush motion design. Since the head bends with your neck with ease you are not digging in or causing razor burns.
The cream is very soothing, has a pleasant aroma and does not clog the blade a single bit. I did not change my style of shaving or anything. The blades really do perform BETTER than any I have used before. I pretty much used them all. And these by far have won me over.
I am not about the packaging, or the neat designs. This product really does blow a hole through the others. This shave is only second to a professional straight razor shave that my mother does.
I ALWAYS got cuts from shaving after the blades got caught in my hair. I was always the guy with little corners of red dot paper on his neck. I really am excited on how well the hair was cut and did not clog the head.
I did not shower beforehand, I used a hot towel and applied the cream. Used hot water to rinse the blade and cold water to clean my neck.
Here is the head after the shave with doing nothing more than; shave, rinse and shave. No tapping or thumbing to clear the cutting edge.Last edited by F34R; 11-25-2014, 06:25 PM.Leave a comment:

That is a very mansome beard. I will have a video review once my kit arrives in these next few days.Leave a comment:

I just picked up a job that requires I shave every day so I had to say goodbye to the 6~7 months worth of beard I was working on. I may have to order pending some reviews of the blades.

Looks very cool. Just ordered three sets for myself, my dad and my father in law. Hopefully it works as nice as it looks.Leave a comment:

Much better. You'll never touch a Mach 3 again.
Big time.
You replace the blade. You can literally buy 100 double-sided blades for $15-25 depending on brand.Leave a comment:

So the safety razor is a better shave then a new mach3?
For real.
What happens when it gets dull? When the mach3 gets dull it still gives
you a smooth face for a long time after.Leave a comment:
