That's what I've heard from multiple Canadians.

    Good luck mate.

Plus, no docs have recommended it. I've only had ultrasound.

I can't rule that out as this all stared with a back issue on June 1st...

nah guys, not killer! being positive about this!

currently I just get some burning within the groin area and some back tweaks...still not walking totally right, but everyday there *seems* to be slight improvement.

got a little worried yesterday during my walk when at times it felt like some guts where gonna fall back into my sack, but I think it's basically the muscle (psoas) acting up...

really gonna cross my fingers for tomorrow's massage...I really need to find a solution to this...too young for this nonsense!

    bringing this back up lol

so, been what...almost 2 months now?

STILL bugging me...ballsack pain has subsited substantially..thank god.

1 doctor (uroligist) said it's epididmits (swollen sperm cord) that seems to be gone now
1 doctor said small hernia (pretty much ruled out by the best hernia hospital in North America)
Hernia Hospital said it's like a really bad groin strain
Physio Terapist said could be a PSOAS injury (a huge muscle that starts in spine, runs latterally across hips, and down through your abdoment/groin)

if the psoas gets all funny, it can affect *everything* digestion/testes/ass muscles

SO...been doing some light stretches a few times a day...might be getting a little better...i'm really trying to be positive about it.

I actually walked 3KM last night, but the pain/burning started pretty back towards the end.

tomorrow I have a massage appointment where they'll likely do trigger point therapy of the psoas muscle...REALLY hoping to get some relief sometime soon.

I really miss running/biking living normally...

    PSOAS pronounced "SO-AS" or SORE-ASS...

google that $hit...it's the devils muscle

Does anyone else have those phantom pains in your balls. I have never had real issues with my balls other than getting 32 chigger bites all over my Di-Ack and sack. But occasionally I will have like serious pain and soreness like I just got hot in the balls, but nothing has happened. I will make room so nothing is touching them and it will still continue to hurt.

    Thanks for asking dupemaster.

It's been a rough road...very rough. This type of injury takes its toll on you not only physically, but emotionally/mentally aswell.

I went for another ultrasound, and the radiologists say that my sack n balls are textbook beautiful, and they can't see a hernia, as I don't have a bulge.
Another radiologist said they found a 1mm hernia, but it's too small to cause all this pain.

I got so frustrated, so scared so fed up not knowing that I did some research of my own.
Found this speciality hospital in Toronto that has dealt with hernias ONLY since 1945...a 5hour drive for me to see them.

I recruited my mother(yes I'm 34:p) to make the drive with me to see these world renown pros.
Left at 4:00am got there at 9:39am
Still waited 6hours to see a specialist, and them saw the head specialist.
Both agreed that I DO NOT have a hernia, but a very bad groin injury, which in turn can offer assymptomatic symptoms as epididymitis and a hernia.
    (The nut swelling/soreness)
But now it's down to groin pain/burning on the right side, sometimes referred pain to the left.

I'm to take it very easy for at least a month. And Advil/heat when it hurts bad.

This has been a freaking roller coaster of stress/anxiety but I'm feeling pretty confident that this is what it is. A bad groin pull/injury.

I was running ALOT, not properly stretching, and I'm a heavy guy(235lbs)

So I might of started the injury, messed up my back, limped a lot, causing more issues there, and finally physio goes and does it in.

I'm writting all this to educate others. It might not be a hernia, or a "non mechanical" issue...what I have (I'm hoping) is a "sports injury"

My sack is no longer swollen, but sometimes aches...but the aches starts in the groin...so ya.

Sorry about the novel, but I do hope this can help someone perhaps going thru this.

And for resources, look up "Shouldice Hospital" for hernia specialists. These guys are world renown. I trust what they have to say as its their speciality.

    Cheers
    Ryan

    How'd the ultrasound go?

I'm two weeks since having mine fixed. Right nut still hurts, but it's getting better. Otherwise in just sore from the actual surgery. So far so good.

I will say though... On Wednesday I thought I was going to kill someone at work my balls hurt so bad. I sat on the right one and instantly started crying in the office. I got up to head to the bathroom and someone asked if I'm ok. I said no, turned around, grabbed my keys and went home. It was 10 am and I had only been there for two hours.

Ice Advil and rest for the next day and a half seem to have been the ticket.
