Yikes. Found out my grandfather has an old spaceview Bulova accutron with the tuning fork movement. Super cool! Maybe I should pick one up sometime. Love the face how it's clear...

I really like the middle one... Where can you get one of those? They sure are neat. Would make a good present to a diehard BMW fan.

How do you guys have this much money to spend on watches and still have an e30 that isn't insane?

That pricing is a bit crazy for Ball. Most sell on the secondary market between $800-2200 depending on the model. The BMW once might be a bit more, but I don't think I would ever spend over $2500 on a Ball.

That's not to say they aren't great watches, in fact they have better precision that many COSC certified watches, but they don't fall into the same league as a watch that's nearly $4k or more.

Anyone interested in this guy? 1970 Bulova Sea King FE. Keeps perfect time, 10K rolled gold case with a stainless back 17 jewel 11 AFAC movement. The face has some discoloration, but its still a nice watch. $30 plus shipping.

Looked at pics of that online, I REALLY want one now, thats so cool. Even though its not an elegant movement inside, the exposed resistors, wrapped copper, etc is really cool.
