    R3v Wristwatch Thread

There used to be a watch thread but it's buried - and I've had a bunch of people PM me about watches. This thread is dedicated to wristwatches and pocketwatches. I'll start by posting my modest and inexpensive collection:

I rock a G-shock my girl got me for my 19th bday. I'm very active and very hard on any clothing/accessories that come with me so the shock is perfect. I've worn it nearly every day almost four years and it has been through everything, still working strong.

Eventually I'll invest in one of the solar-powered G-shocks that has a moon calendar or tide schedule.

        I dig nice pieces though.
        Different strokes for different folks.

My current favorite watch that I wear just about everywhere:
I love that it's solar charged.
          Citizen Perpetual Calender

Orient FT00004B which I love for casual dress and it being an Automatic. Mine lasts about 35 hours before needing to be rewound if I don't wear it.

I posted these on the other thread but here they are again. I have a thing for mechanical watches, no batteries here.

                              The cheapo, keeps resonable time:

Vintage Omega Seamaster, keeps perfect time:

And the 1902 Elgin pocket watch, has a broken mainspring. Sadly this isn't worth the $ to fix. Supposedly it was completely gone through just before I got it. Its never worked for me.
