Actually I know somebody who's father successfully robbed half a dozen banks using an e30 as his get away car. The father ended up in jail eventually but his son ended up with the e30 and I almost bought it at one point.

Maybe only one of them had an e30. With today's prices, robbing a bank is probably one of the very few ways anyone can get an e30. but on serious note, seems like one of them has a family. It's stupid to risk losing your family over a few bucks. :(
