my GF calls me a sloth. I can see the resemblence. The hair (which constantly plugs the bath tub drain) and my toenails kinda resemble it's claws

He's actually pretty smart and very curious. His diet is all fruits and veggies. Narrowing down his favorites right now. Squash is his fav. He's pretty much full grown, just a bit more filling out. Sid was probably based off the giant ground sloth...those are rad.

I do have one question though, how did you get around NYS Exotic Pet ban laws ?? I thought NYS had an out and out ban on nearly every conceivable pet out side of the what is considered the "norm" for pets you know domestic non-hybrid cats, dogs, Non banned non native fishes and reptiles and such.

Thats NYC and Rochester. I, thankfully, live in much more rural area. Talked with the DEC and spent hours digging through the state laws regarding animals and since a sloth is its own species it doesn't fall into any banned category.
