Great pet. Looks like you are doing a good job taking care of him as well.
If you had to go on an extended trip, or hospital misadventure who would take care of him? Zoo?
As fare as the legality. Most of the animals on the illegal list are there because they pose a danger to the public and/or their owners (chimps will bight off your fingers, gouge out your eyes, and rip off your manhood if you piss them off) or pose a threat to native animals and plant life. I cant imagine this guy killing anyone or escaping and suddenly reproducing and wiping out a plant/animal species.sigpic

He has his own room thats currently staying around 80-85 in the day. Humidifier will be pulled out for when we hit a dry spell. Looking into options for heat in the winter though. Was going to use an oil radiator with a safety surround but now thinking of infrared as it actually heats up the objects in the room and wont get hot to the touch.

I rally don't think a chemicals heater would be too good of an idea what with a sealed environment and fumes....Yours truly,

As far as temperature goes it needs to be above 70 for their digestive system to work properly. Honestly its a little like a reptiles.

I'm pretty sure that cat above in the youtube video must be the most chill cat ever, at one point I thought, "Sloth, you're drunk, you're too rough." But the cat just took it, then the sloth was basically loving/eating the cat's neck. Kinda cute, kinda freaky...
Do you have other animals, you gonna let your sloth love up/strangle them?
