Yeah I saw the Jalopnik one and it looks like they are doing a Starion Sub. At least they were more recent episodes. They need to have Tanner drive it and sit close to the camera so he looks all bug-eyed like Hammond did.
    Im now E30less.

All this hate for Top Gear USA. Hey its licensed by BBC from the people that make the UK Top Gear. A lot of people say they re-use stunts and shows. Im sure that BBC has some influence on that. I mean a few of the shows in the USA are kind funnier than the UK verson. Not by much but its nice to see a flip on it.

Ya i have noticed some episodes from the the USA one that are very similar to the UK ones. Still a fan of the UK top gear over the USA

top gear USA will never be as good as top gear UK, strictly for that fact that its impossible for americans to be as witty or charming as the brits. american top gear is forced it feels

anywho, still pretty cool, the "skyway" they filmed on in buffalo was a blast to ride/drive. i miss riding my R1 around that city, there was something about it...

Buffalo is going through quite a renaissance the past 5 or so years. So much is happening, it's great.

I don't know, I kind of feel it varies. Whose Line is it Anyways seems to be better with the American version. Where TG USA seems to suck.

I dont know. I much prefer Top Gear UK AND original WhoseLine Is It Anyway. I think a lot has to do with what Im used to. Sequels/remakes are hard to appreciate because i cant help but compare them to the original.

Being a government broadcast company owned tends to be an advantage in this regard.

So PBS would have a better shot. Start a new membership drive now to get things rolling!
