Safe to drink 30+ year old booze?

The GF's aunt is selling her house and gave us a box of old booze that's unopened and easily about 30-35 years old. Most of it is rum, whisky's and wine and other crap (I'm not much of a drinker).

Her aunt stopped drinking when they decided to have kids, and never looked back.

Is this stuff safe to drink? it's been in the bottom of some old cupboard since the late 70's

    thanks in advance!
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Yessir. Anything that is harmful to the human body, will not survive in an alcoholic environment.

It may have changed since bottling, but it wont be bad (depending on your tastes)

    Cheers!

would this stuff be worth anything, considering it's uopened?

Might consider sellin some of it instead

Booze is supposed to be better with age right? Or is that just wine?

Wine you have to store correctly or it "goes bad".

Hard stuff you should be okay. Hell, it could be more potent. Sniff, then take a shot, and go from there. Just don't die.

Hard Alcohol will be a-ok. Wine, maybe not so much after 30 years, but you wont know till you try it.
Liqueurs (sp?) MAY be OK if unopened, but less likely than the hard stuff. use common sense and don't dead yourself for a free bottle of Kuluha ;) besides real men drink distilled spirits.

Pretty solid piece of advice right there.
