We sometimes get passes for advance screenings of movies at work, I'm hoping this is one of them.

By far the only movie I have had an interest in coming out for quite some time.

Watched it last night. It was good. But it's a typical Hollywood/Ron Howard type of movie. Don't expect nuance or gritty realism.

I just hope it is not too Hollywood.
It will have to be compared with Senna, LeMans, and Grand Prix.

Yeah I think I heard someone tell me that the timeline in the movie is way off from what happened in real life (regarding the events leading up to the crash).

I wouldn't really compare this to Senna. Senna was a documentary made for a certain niche, Rush is a 'major motion picture' that will try to grab the attention of everyone and not just racing enthusiasts.

Still gonna see it at least twice, probably.

I got to do this with my housemate who works for one of those companies.

Saw it last night, i really enjoyed it. The casting was on point IMO and the story was exactly how it happened according to Niki Lauda himself. My wife is not into F1 and she was also very surprised by how much she ended up liking ithe movie and story. I think Ron Howard did a fantastic job especially with slow motion cut-ins of the cars/engines in action. Worth the watch IMO.

                            Saw it yesterday.
Damn good, and I would highly recommend as a date movie... These were dangerous years that I don't really want wifey to relate to my racing, but still a great means to introduce and explain our passion to "outsiders."
