i know its tricky to find a spot for cheap with those amenities out here, but if your not picky with where you end up, they're out here. if you cant find one, you get used to living without them, trust me, id much rather have to hit the laundromat once a week and leave the car outside then live at home

Oh and GTFO of your parents house, find a roommate if you need to.
Where do you live at??????? I was in Chandler before i left for Sacramento. I work in Gilbert. I spend ALOT of my time in scottsdale when im not working, and the drive was killing it for me.

This thread is hilarious.... $30/mo parking?? $20/day for rent?? HahHahahHa

Damn that's like 1970 prices where I live. How much money do you guys make a month? My advice, don't move to California, especially not bay area, fuckin expensive as fuck.

I wish I could live back with my parents. As soon as all their kids were old enough to gtfo, my parents moved into a much smaller place and started to travel and live their lives, and they wonder why i don't want kids....

Dude, you live in San Francisco. No shit your standard cost of living is higher.

I live in BFE, Ohio and make less than a beater e30 a month, take home.

              holy shit me too.

My advice would be to rent a house with friends, that's what i'm doing. (doesn't work for everyone though) I'm only paying $325+utilities to live in a decent house and have a garage to work on my car and a backyard for gatherings/bbqs.

For sure move. I've been on my own for like 6-7 years now. Being broke is way better than being miserable. I pay alot! Like 2-3 grand a month. Somehow still check to check Even with the ridiculous rate I get paid. But being able to rub one out in the living room and not worry about roommates or parents is so awesome. Best part 99 percent of the girls you bring are gonna sex you up! Live poor but happy my fiend.

Yeah, I kind of wish I could move back with my parents. Cheap rent, home cooked meals and, extra cash. Then I realize I like to play video games naked and the second you tell any girl you still live at home she runs to the hills.

That's what I did until that drove me crazy too, and I had more money.

Speaking as a dad with a deadbeat 19 year old in the basement... Get Out. Get Out of your parent's house. Just go. It's their house and they're clearly done with raising you - they bought a smaller house just for them, not for you.

Like the man said, start doing it for yourself, or
I'm gonna need you to turn in your man card.
(Sorry...some issues to deal with here  But yeah, time for you to go.)

EDIT: WHat would your view be if that 19 year old was going to school? Just curious.

If that 19 year old was going to school I wouldn't be nearly so hostile, embittered and passive-aggressive. And he could stay.

yeah, that's not just SF. housing prices are up about 75% in oakland this year. i live next to oakland, and parts of it remind me of fallujah.
